This is a review of the Markov property of stochastic fields related to quantum field theory and statistical mechanics. First, the authors review Nelson's approach to the construction of Euclidean field. Then they discuss the relation of the global Markov property and the uniqueness of Gibbs state, and give the idea how to show the global Markov property for the Euclidean field with trigonometric interaction and for the extreme Gibbs state of Ising model. This review and its reference is useful for people interested in these topics.
