The authors are concerned with a pseudospectral (collocation) method in order to solve differential equations on unbounded domains. They use a class of generalized Laguerre functions for which they establish fundamental results about the Laguerre-Gauss and the Laguerre-Gauss-Radau interpolations. The corresponding collocation scheme is introduced and its convergence is proved for a model problem in the whole space as well as for an exterior problem. Some numerical results are carried out in order to underline the spectral accuracy of the scheme.
