One considers the wave equation with acoustic boundary conditions (ABC) and the wave equation with the general Wentzell boundary conditions (GWBC). The paper investigates the connection between these two problems by comparing the infinitesimal generators of the contraction semigroups governing wave equation associated with ABC and wave equation with GWBC.
