The authors study the spectrum of the Anderson model on the Bethe lattice, that is of the random Hamiltonian \(H=\Delta+q\) on the Hilbert space \(\ell^2(\mathbb B)\), where \(\mathbb B\) is the Bethe lattice and \(q\) is a random i.i.d.~potential with marginal \(\nu \). It is proved that if the disorder is weak enough, then the spectrum has an absolutely continuous part. More precisely, it is shown that for any \(E\in (0,2\sqrt2)\) there exist \(\delta_1\) and \(\delta_2\) positive, such that for all \(\nu \) with \[ \int_{| q| \geq \delta_1}(1+| q| ^4)\nu (dq)\leq \delta_2, \] the spectrum of \(H\) is purely absolutely continuous in \([-E,E]\) with probability one. A very similar result was originally proved in \textit{A. Klein} [Commun. Math. Phys. 177, No. 3, 755--773 (1996; Zbl 0860.60050) and Adv. Math. 133, No. 1, 163--184 (1998; Zbl 0899.60088)] using different methods. The proof is based on arguments developed by the authors of the paper in [J. Funct. Anal. 230, No. 1, 184--221 (2006; Zbl 1094.35104)].
