Suppression of chaos in averaged oscillator driven by external and parametric excitations (Q1579837)

This paper is devoted to the control chaos in a nonlinear oscillator subject to external and parametric excitations having incommensurate frequencies. The authors studied both analytically with the help of the Melnikov method and numerically using the Lyapunov exponent the supression of chaos in the averaged periodic coefficient system associated with a quasi-periodic forcing.
