This very interesting monograph for researchers and graduate students as well, gives a wide picture of the theory of spherical soap bubbles, which studies isometric minimal immersions of round spheres into round spheres. The first chapter ``Finite Möbius groups'' contains DeTurck's and Ziller's result that all homogeneous spherical space forms can be isometrically and minimally imbedded into spheres. The eigenmaps are treated in chapter 2 to prepare for the more involved material in chapter 3 ``Moduli for spherical minimal immersions'', which contains DoCarmo and Wallach's study and the positive resolution of the ``exact dimension conjecture''. In the last chapter, a variety of lower bounds for the range of the original spherical minimal immersion is obtained. Each chapter ends with some additional topics (e.g. Felix Klein's classical treatise of the icosahedron) and some challenging problems. A useful appendix with some basic notions is given at the end of the book.
