Verfahren 31, 233-246 (1979; Zbl 0414.93018) or Proc. Int. Cybern. and Society, Tokyo 1978, 1333-1338 (1978)] and global optimization methods developed by \textit{Q. Zheng} [Numer. Math., Nanking 3, 273-275 (1981; Zbl 0486.90072) and \textit{Q. Zheng}, \textit{B. Jiang} and \textit{S. Zhuang}, Acta Math. Appl. Sin. 1978, 161-174 (1978) (in Chinese)] are coupled to obtain effective procedures for solution of nonlinear observation and identification problems.
