The analysis performed in the paper is based on the Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes equations. Plane shear flows are investigated for different values of model parameters, and mean velocity profiles are obtained. The same is done for pipe flows. The mean velocity graphs are obtained for turbulent flows -- flat-plate turbulent boundary layer flow, two-dimensional turbulent channel flows (non-rotating and rotating), turbulent plane Couette flow, and turbulent pipe flows (non-rotating and rotating) -- using DNS data. The author obtains scaling laws consistent with a \(k-\varepsilon\) model which meets all symmetry requirements.
