The paper presents an error analysis for an \(A-\phi\) scheme for the time-dependent Maxwell equations, using piecewise linear finite elements for the magnetic and electric potentials. Error estimates in finite time are given under strong regularity assumptions, which are surely not fulfilled in general if the underlying domain is polyhedral (as assumed in the Introduction).
