The authors study the Cauchy problem and stability properties of solutions for a nonrelativistic Vlasov-Maxwell-Boltzmann system. They treat a two-component plasma with assumed binary collisions in presence of a self-consistent electromagnetic field. Stable convergent solutions to the Cauchy problem are obtained by applying a new time-velocity weighted energy method that includes the non-cutoff Boltzmann operator, and a special temporal energy norm.
