    The authors deal with the following problem: How to determine from the properties of the second fundamental form whether a given minimal Lagrangian immersion \(M\to\mathbb C\mathbb P^n(4)\) of an \(n\)-dimensional Riemannian manifold \(M\) can be locally decomposed in the form (*): \(I\times M_1\times M_2\to \mathbb C\mathbb P^{n_1+ n+2+ 1}(4)\), \(n_1=\dim M_1\), \(n_2=\dim M_2\), t.e. in a warped product immersion. Here \(M_i\to \mathbb C\mathbb P^{n_i}(4)\), \(i= 1,2\) are two Lagrangian immersions and the immersion (*): \(I\times M_1\times M_2\to \mathbb C\mathbb P^{n_1+ n_2+ 1}\) is determined by a horizontal curve: \(I\to S^3(1)\subset \mathbb C^2\).
