The following theorem is the main result of this paper. Theorem. Let \(G\) be a reductive algebraic \(k\)-group defined over a global field \(k\). Then the set of \(R\)-equivalence classes on the set \(G(k)\) of \(k\)-rational points of \(G\) is finite.
