On a partition theorem of Göllnitz and quartic transformations (Q1265672)

If \(1\leq i\leq 4\), let \(Q_i(n)\) denote the number of partitions of \(n\) into distinct parts \(\not\equiv i\pmod 4\). Using weighted identities, the author obtains formulas that link \(Q_i(n)\) with the number of partitions into parts that differ by at least 4, and by more if consecutive parts are both \(\equiv i\pmod 4\). These results parallel prior results by Göllnitz regarding partitions into distinct parts that satisfy certain congruence conditions \((\operatorname {mod}6)\).
