Abstract: We consider an algebra mathscrA of Fourier integral operators on mathbbRn. It consists of all operators D:mathscrS(mathbbRn)omathscrS(mathbbRn) on the Schwartz space mathscrS(mathbbRn) that can be written as finite sums D= sum R_gT_w A, with Shubin type pseudodifferential operators A, Heisenberg-Weyl operators Tw, winmathbbCn, and lifts Rg, ginmathrmU(n), of unitary matrices g on mathbbCn to operators Rg in the complex metaplectic group. For DinmathscrA and a suitable auxiliary Shubin pseudodifferential operator H we establish expansions for mathopmathrmTr(D(Hlambda)K) as |lambda|oinfty in a sector of mathbbC for sufficiently large K and of mathopmathrmTr(DetH) as to0+. We also obtain the singularity structure of the meromorphic extension of zmapstomathopmathrmTr(DHz) to mathbbC. Moreover, we find a noncommutative residue as a suitable coefficient in these expansions and construct from it a family of localized equivariant traces on the algebra.
