Let \(\mathbb D\) be the complex unit disc and \(\mathcal A\) the class of all functions \(f:\mathbb D\to \mathbb C\) having the form \(f(z)=z+\sum_{n=2}^\infty a_nz^n\). Let also \(\alpha\in[-1/2,1)\) and denote by \(\mathcal F(\alpha)\) the class of functions in \(\mathcal A\) for which \[ \text{Re}\left(1+\frac{zf''(z)}{f'(z)}\right)>\alpha\quad\text{in}\quad\mathbb D. \] The authors define first the generalized Zalcman coefficient functional: \(\Phi_\lambda(n,f)=\lambda a_n^2-a_{2n-1}\) for \(\lambda>0\) and \(f\in\mathcal A\), and, after recalling some known results on it, give some theorems that prove sharp results on \(| \Phi_\lambda(n,f)| \) for \(f\in\mathcal F(\alpha)\) (\(n\geq 3\)). The main results prove that for all functions in this class, the so-called ``Zalcman conjecture'', i.e., \(| \phi_1(n,f)| \leq(n-1)^2\), holds in a more general form (concerning \(\lambda>0\)).
