    The well-known Fourier-analytical definition of the classical spaces \[ F^s_{p,r} (\mathbb R^n),\quad s\in \mathbb R,\quad 1<p<\infty,\quad 1 \le r \le \infty, \] has been generalized in several directions. If one replaces the isotropic scaling \(( 2^j \xi )\), \(\xi \in \mathbb R^n\), on the Fourier side by \((\lambda^{a} \xi, \lambda^b \eta)\), \(\lambda >0\), \(0<a,b <\infty\), \(\xi \in \mathbb R^n\), \(\eta \in \mathbb R^m\), then one obtains related anisotropic spaces. Furthermore, one can replace the basic spaces \(L_p (\mathbb R^n)\) by vector-valued mixed-normed spaces of type \(L_p (E)\). Of interest are decoupling assertions for the resulting spaces of the type \[ F^{s, (a,b)}_{(p,q),r} (\mathbb R^n \times \mathbb R^m) = F^{s/b}_{q,r} \big(\mathbb R^m, L_p (\mathbb R^n)\big) \cap L_q \big(\mathbb R^m, F^{s/a}_{p,r} (\mathbb R^n) \big). \] The paper deals in detail with problems of this type in a rather general setting.
