The author considered the viscoelastic equation with damping and source terms and acoustic boundary conditions \[ \partial_{tt} u - L u = \int_0^t h(t-s) L u ds = |u|^\varrho u \] subject to the initial conditions and boundary conditions with time memory \[ \partial_{\nu} u - \int_0^t h(t-s) \partial_{\nu} u ds + g(\partial_t u) = k(x) \partial_t z \] with the coupling \(\partial_t u + f(x)\partial_t z + q(x) z =0\) on a part of the boundary. Global existence of solutions and uniform decay rates is shown. Under the assumption that the kernel function decays exponentially to zero at infinity, the decay rate is given by the feedback term. In the case the kernel function does not decay exponentially to zero at infinity, the decay estimate depends on its behavior at infinity. The author furthermore has classified the energy decay rate by 6 cases depending on the relaxation function and damping term.
