Tldr We present a hybrid high-order (HHO) method for linear elasticity problems with a linear slip interface, where the displacement jump across the interface is proportional to the traction through a compliancy tensor. The novelty of our approach lies in incorporating this interface condition into the local symmetric strain reconstruction and adding an interface stabilisation term built from a regularised stiffness, providing a unified formulation covering all possible compliancies and no additional unknowns attached to the jump.
