Abstract: In this paper I give a positive solution to Bullett's conjecture (posed in [2]) regarding a geometric presentation of the universal mod

p

oriented ring spectrum. I also give a positive answer to Spitzweck-O staver's question in [6] as to whether this spectrum admits an

E_{i} n f t y

-ring structure. The main technical ingredient is a geometric presentation of

E_{1}

- and

E_{i} n f t y

-rings that may be of independent interest.
