A note on the penalty correction method
From MaRDI portal
A penalty correction method of J. Pasciak reduces the solution of an inhomogeneous Dirichlet boundary value problem to a sequence of finite element problems with natural boundary conditions. This paper shows the method to be a case of iterated defect corretion and finds error estimates.
