A note on the solvability of groups.
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: Let be a maximal subgroup of a finite group and be a chief factor such that while . We call the group a
s section of . And we define to be the abstract group that is isomorphic to a
s section of . For every maximal subgroup of , assume that Sec() is supersolvable. Then any composition factor of is isomorphic to or , where and are primes, and . This result answer a question posed by ref. cite{WL}.
