Abstract: We write the BRST operator of the N=1 superstring as $Q=e^{-R}(ointdzgamm{a}^{2}b)e^R$ where $gamma$ and $b$ are super-reparameterization ghosts. This provides a trivial proof that $Q$ is nilpotent.
