An inverse function theorem converse
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: We establish the following converse of the well-known inverse function theorem. Let and be inverse homeomorphisms between open subsets of Banach spaces. If is differentiable of class and if locally Lipschitz, then the Fr'echet derivative of at each point of is invertible and must be differentiable of class .
