Characterization of rectifiability via Lusin type approximation

From MaRDI portal

Abstract: We prove that a Radon measure mu on mathbbRn can be written as mu=sumi=0nmui, where each of the mui is an i-dimensional rectifiable measure if and only if for every Lipschitz function f:mathbbRnomathbbR and every varepsilon>0 there exists a function g of class C1 such that mu(xinmathbbRn:g(x)eqf(x))<varepsilon.
