Tldr This paper develops a coarse space preconditioner for Generalized Optimized Schwarz Methods, providing convergence estimates for the GMRes algorithm in the infinite dimensional setting. A novel aspect is that our analysis applies at the continuous level, leading to an improved and more general framework than earlier work on domain decomposition methods.
