Computing Moment Maps of Hypersurfaces using MAXIMA

Abstract: We use Maxima to compute the moment matrices of hypersurfaces. After that, we compute the Hilbert-Mumford numerical criterion for plane cubics and plane quartics, and give the stability of these curves.
