Conditional estimates for $L$-functions in the Selberg class

Abstract: Assuming the Generalized Riemann Hypothesis, we provide upper bounds with explicit main terms for moduli of left(mathcalL′/mathcalLight)(s) and logmathcalL(s) for |3/4−sigma|leq1/4−delta, fixed deltain(0,1/4) and for functions in the Selberg class. Moreover, by further assuming a polynomial Euler product representation for mathcalL(s), we establish uniform bounds in mathcalL for |3/4−sigma|leq1/4−1/loglogleft(mathrmqmathcalL|t|mathrmdmathcalLight), |1−sigma|leq1/loglogleft(mathrmqmathcalL|t|mathrmdmathcalLight) and sigma=1, and completely explicit estimates by assuming also the strong lambda-conjecture.
