Abstract: Let $extttR$ be a commutative finite chain ring of invariants $(q,s)$ and $Gamma(extttR)$ the Teichm"uller's set of $extttR.$ In this paper, the trace representation cyclic $extttR$-linear codes of length $ell,$ is presented, when $extttgcd(ell,q)=1.$ We will show that the contractions of some cyclic $extttR$-linear codes of length $uell$ are $gamma$-constacyclic $extttR$-linear codes of length $ell,$ where $gammainGamma(extttR)$ and the multiplicative order of is $u.$
