Convergence of finite elements enriched with mesh-less methods
Boundary value problems for second-order elliptic equations (35J25) Stability and convergence of numerical methods for boundary value problems involving PDEs (65N12) Error bounds for boundary value problems involving PDEs (65N15) Finite element, Rayleigh-Ritz and Galerkin methods for boundary value problems involving PDEs (65N30)
The authors study a discretization method which combines finite elements with particle interpolation, based on enrichment. An a priori error estimation for the \(h\)-\(p\) enrichment of finite elements with particles is carried out. This error estimation is used in order to study the convergence of the method and to design proper adaptive strategies.
