Crystal precipitation with discrete initial data

In the article on the same subject by the first two authors [ibid. 137, No.2, 550-575 (1989), see the review below] the initial data n(x,0) was a continuous function. Here it is a finite sum of Dirac measures. As time increases the radii of the crystals tend to a critical radius.
