This dataset contains field measurements of grain size and sediment cover percentage collected in September 2022 for the main channel of the River Carron and eight tributaries in Scotland. The data includes measurements from 70 sampling sites, with information on sediment cover percentage and grain size distributions (D50 and D84). Geographic coordinates are provided in decimal degrees (WGS84). This dataset supports the research paper "Network-scale dynamics of alluvial cover in a mixed bedrock-alluvial river".
