This repository contains the data obtained in the TeensLab project on economic preferences among teenagers which is described in the paper "Economic preferences and cognitive abilities among teenagers in Spain", submitted to Scientific Data. We are pleased to share our data for adolescent research with the appropriate reference. TeensLab is a consortium of universities from different regions, mainly Spain. We study economic behavior among adolescents. In particular, we are interested in cognitive abilities, creativity, consistency, networks, strategic behavior and risk time preferences. This project provides a database of teenagers from 33 different educational centers in Spain. We elicited 5,890 observations of students from 10 to 23 years old, in different educational stages (elementary, high school, sixth form and vocational training). Both the collection process and the available variables on economic preferences and abilities are described. We also encourage pre-registering works to avoid overlaps with the database.
