This data set contains the model output used inthe journal articleRutten et al. Simulating crescentic sandbar behaviour along a curved coast. ORGANIZATION: The data set consists of 50netcdf files, corresponding to the 50model runs. Bed level change was simulated under time-variant and time-invariant wave conditions over a period of 20 days. The reference runs are named RunRef1.nc (time-invariant wave forcing at the offshore boundary) and RunRef2.nc (time-varyingwave forcing at the offshore boundary). Runs1-39 are variations on the forcing, whereasRuns 40-48 are variations on the bathymetry(seeTable 1 in the journal publication for the boundary condition in each run). Each file contains the grid, time vector andbed elevation. Also, the x- and y-component of the current and the sediment transport are provided.Output is given every 24 hours over a length of 20 days. longshore Longshore distance [m] cross-shore Cross-shore distance [m] time Time [days] ZF Bed elevation [m] UCX x-component current [m/s] UCY y-component current [m/s] QTX x-component sediment transport[m3/m/s] QTY y-component sediment transport[m3/m/s]
