This dataset reports the data and scripts for the replication of results and figures reported in "Quantifying international climate finance needs and its social and climate benefits". Contents The folder `DataProcessing_Figures` contains: 00-03 scripts used to process the raw simulation output to produce dataframes used for figures generation 80-99 scripts containing additional functions and figures' aesthetic settings `data_` scripts containing different versions of the data (raw, clean, analysis, and support) figure_XX scripts for the main figures figure_SXX scripts for the supplementary figures The folder `Optimization_Simulation` contains the scripts used for optimization and simulation of policies. It contains two folders `WITCHAdaptation` (sensitivity to alternative assumptions for adaptation) and `FullAdaptation` (used for the main figures). Each of these two folders contains: a main `CRICE` folder used to simulate the optimized policies 9 folders containing the CRICE version used for optimization containing the output of the optimization a script used to compile and run the optimization and postprocessing `compileRun.sh` a script used to analyze the runtime of the optimization algorithm `plotRuntime.py` a script used to simulate the best-performing seed / runtime `bestRuntime.py`
