A complete dataset on the response of (semi-rigid and partial strength) column base plate connections in a substandard steel frame tested experimentally, are provided. Free-vibration, cyclic and pseudo-dynamic tests were carried out at the Structures Laboratory (STRULAB) of the University of Patras in the framework of H2020 EU-funded "Engineering Research Infrastructures for European Synergies (ERIES)" project.
