The dataset provides time-series of multipoint geometries in a shapefile. Each row or feature in the shapefile represents the shoreline at a specific time and location, including beaches in the Balearic Islands (Spain), the Black Sea (Romania), and the Metropolitan coastal region of Lisbon (Portugal). The instantaneous shoreline is the position of the waterline (swash uprush limit) measured with RTK-GNSS, derived from rectified beach images, or from optical remote sensing platforms.
