This dataset is a supplementary resource for the open-access article "The influence of small mass loss rate peaks on the rate of spread of predictive flame spread simulations: A theoretical study", published in the Fire Safety Journal. It contains data related to the one-at-a-time senstivity analysis, the uncertainty quantification and the global sensitivity analysis presented and discussed in the article. The file 'Article_dataset.zip' contains all the data and scripts used in the study. This includes Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) input and output files, as well as Python and Bash scripts for running simulations on a computer cluster, and post-processing results to generate the figures presented in the paper. The reference simulation cases using the original pyrolysis model are provided in their complete form in the file'Cases_0a_0b_complete_simulations.zip'. ----------------------------------------------- Article on the Fire Safety Journal: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.firesaf.2025.104344 ----------------------------------------------- Acknowledgements: We gratefully acknowledge the computing time granted through the project on the CoBra-system, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research with the grant number 13N15497.
