Distribution Properties of Compressing Sequences Derived From Primitive Sequences Modulo Odd Prime Powers
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: Let and be primitive sequences over with odd prime and . For certain compressing maps, we consider the distribution properties of compressing sequences of and , and prove that if the compressing sequences are equal at the times such that , where is a sequence related to . We also discuss the -uniform distribution property of compressing sequences. For some compressing maps, we have that there exist different primitive sequences such that the compressing sequences are -uniform. We also discuss that compressing sequences can be -uniform for how many elements .
