Dynamical systems method (DSM) for general nonlinear equations
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: If is a map in a Hilbert space , , and there exists , such that , , then equation can be solved by a DSM (dynamical systems method). This method yields also a convergent iterative method for finding , and converges at the rate of a geometric series. It is not assumed that is the only solution to . Stable approximation to a solution of the equation is constructed by a DSM when is unknown but is known, where .
