Elliptic curves containing sequences of consecutive cubes
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: Let be an elliptic curve over described by where . A set of rational points for , is said to be a sequence of consecutive cubes on if the coordinates of the points 's for form consecutive cubes. In this note, we show the existence of an infinite family of elliptic curves containing a length--term sequence of consecutive cubes. Morever, these five rational points in are linearly independent and the rank of is at least .
