Equidistribution of phase shifts in semiclassical potential scattering
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: Consider a semiclassical Hamiltonian where is the positive Laplacian on , and is an energy level. We prove that under an appropriate dynamical hypothesis on the Hamilton flow corresponding to , the eigenvalues of the scattering matrix define a measure on that converges to Lebesgue measure away from as .
