Die Autoren wenden ihre früher [Indagationes Math. 45, 139-147 (1983; Zbl 0524.55021); Topology 23, 139-155 (1984; Zbl 0545.55007)] entwickelten Methoden auf den äquivarianten Fall an. Für eine Gruppe G betrachten sie die Kategorie der G-Räume mit fixiertem Homotopietyp der Fixpunktmengen einer Auswahl von Untergruppen \(G_{\alpha}<G\). (Morphismen: G-Abbildungen, die auf den Fixpunktmengen der gewählten Untergruppen schwache Äquivalenzen sind.) Ihr Interesse gilt der Menge der Wegekomponenten dieser Kategorie. Diese kann schließlich beschrieben werden als Menge der Wegekomponenten des Funktionskomplexes von gewissen Diagrammhomomorphismen. In diesem Teil wird eine elegante Beschreibung der Barkonstruktion in n-Variablen gegeben und genutzt.
