Description
English: An exhibit at the upcoming Science City at Dhapa in Kolkata, India that was developed by the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM). The girl is touching a Van De Graaf electrostatic generator which charges her body with a high voltage electrostatic charge. The strands of her hair, charged with the same polarity, repel one another and stand out from her head. (information from College Physics, Vol.2, Rice University, p.630)
