Geometric Properties of Inverse Polynomial Images
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: Given a polynomial of degree , consider the inverse image of and , denoted by and , respectively. It is well known that consists of analytic Jordan arcs moving from to . In this paper, we give a necessary and sufficient condition such that (1) consists of analytic Jordan arcs and (2) is connected, respectively.
