Review text

A method for deriving fuzzy relational tableaux from fuzzy exemplifications is put into discussion. For p and q being propositions represented by possibility distributions, their composition realized by means of the operator \({\mathbb{O}}\) results in a maximally restricted possibility distribution for p\({\mathbb{O}}q\). A numerical example dealing with the modelling of the AND operator illustrates the main steps of the proposed inference process.
