Abstract: Let left(mathcalH,left(.,.ight)ight) be a Hilbert space and let mathcalLleft(mathcalHight) be the linear space of bounded operators in mathcalH. In this paper, we deal with mathcalL(mathcalH)-valued function Q that belongs to the generalized Nevanlinna class mathcalNkappa(mathcalH), where kappa is a non-negative integer. It is the class of functions meromorphic on , such that and the kernel has kappa negative squares. A focus is on the functions QinmathcalNkappa(mathcalH) which are holomorphic at infty. A new operator representation of the inverse function hatQleft(zight):=−Qleft(zight)−1 is obtained under the condition that the derivative at infinity Q'left(inftyight):=limlimitszoinftyzQ(z) is boundedly invertible operator. It turns out that hatQ is the sum hatQ=hatQ1+hatQ2,,,hatQiinmathcalNkappaileft(mathcalHight) that satisfies kappa1+kappa2=kappa. That decomposition enables us to study properties of both functions, Q and hatQ, by studying the simple components hatQ1 and hatQ2.
