Isolated points of Diophantine sets

Abstract: Let $gammain(0;frac12),augeq1$ and define the "$gamma,au$ Diophantine set" as: ${\displaystyle }$D_{gamma, au}:={alphain (0;1): ||qalpha||geqfrac{gamma}{q^{ au}}quadforall qinBbb{N}},qquad ||x||:=inf_{pinBbb{Z}}|x-p|.${\displaystyle }$ We analyze the topology of these sets and we show that generally they have isolated points.
