    The following connectedness concepts are introduced. Given \((X,\Delta)\in|\text{FTS}|\) and \(\alpha\in (0,1]\) we shall say that \((X,\Delta)\) is \(2_ \alpha\)-connected if there does not exist a non-empty proper subset \(A\subset X\) such that \(\{\alpha 1_ A, \alpha 1_{X\backslash A}\}\subset\Delta\). We shall say that \((X,\Delta)\) is \(D\)-connected if it is \(2_ \alpha\)-connected for each \(\alpha\in (0,1]\). Let \(\Delta_ \alpha\) be the fuzzy topology on 2 generated by \(\{\alpha 1_{\{a\}}, \alpha 1_{\{b\}}\}\), where \(2:=\{a,b\}\), \(a\neq b\). For a class \(E\subset|\text{FTS}|\) it is \({\mathcal C} E=\{X\in|\text{FTS}|\mid f\in\text{FTS}(X,Y)\), \(Y\in E\Rightarrow f\) is constant\}. It is proved that \({\mathcal C}\{2_ \alpha\}=\{X\mid X\) is \(2_ \alpha\)-connected\} and \({\mathcal C} D=\{X\mid X\) is \(D\)- connected\}, where \(2_ \alpha=\{2,\Delta_ \alpha\}\) and \(D\) is the set of all spaces \(2_ \alpha\), \(\alpha\in (0,1]\). Some properties of (C1)-connectedness, \(2_ \alpha\)-connectedness and \(D\)-connectedness are studied.
