    For all \(0<p,q\leq +\infty\), define \(H_{p,q}(\mathbb R^{2})\) as the space of all tempered distributions \(f\) on \(\mathbb R^{2}\) such that \(u^*\in L_{p,q}(\mathbb R^{2})\), where \(u(x,y,t)=(f* P_{t})(x,y)\) is the convolution of \(f\) with the Poisson kernel, \(u^*\) is the non tangential maximal function of \(u\) and \(L_{p,q}\) the Lorentz space. The space \(H_{p,q}\) is called the Hardy-Lorentz space. Let \(\theta\) be an even continuous function on \(\mathbb R\), supported in \([-c,c]\) for some \(0<c\leq +\infty\). Assume that \(\theta\) is differentiable on \((0,c)\), that \(\theta(0)=1\), \(\theta'\in L^{1}\), \(t^{2}\theta\in L^{1}\), \(\lim_{t\to +\infty}\theta(t)=0\) and \(\lim_{t\to +\infty} t\theta'(t)\) is finite if \(c=+\infty\). Assume furthermore that \[ \left| \int_{0}^{+\infty} \theta'(t)\cos(tu)dt\right|\leq Cu^{-\alpha} \text{ and } \left| \int_{0}^{+\infty} \theta'(t)t\sin(tu)dt\right|\leq Cu^{-\alpha} \] for some \(0<\alpha\leq 1\). For \(T>0\), the Marcinkiewicz-\(\theta\)-mean of a function \(f\in L^p\) (\(1\leq p\leq 2\)) is defined by \[ U_{T}^{\theta}f(x,y)=\frac 1 T\int_{0}^{+\infty}\theta'\left(\frac t T\right)s_{t,t}f(x,y)dt, \] where \[ s_{t,u}f(x,y)=\frac 1{2\pi}\int_{-t}^t\int_{-u}^{u} \widehat{f}(v,w)e^{ixv+iyw}dvdw. \] Consider also the following maximal operator: \[ U_*^{\theta}f=\sup_{T>0}\left| U_{T}^{\theta}f\right|. \] Then, it is proved that \(U_*^{\theta}\) is bounded from \(H_{p,q}\) to \(L_{p,q}\), and that \(U_{T}^{\theta}\) is \(H_{p,q}\)-bounded for all \(2(\alpha+3)/3(\alpha+2)<p<+\infty\) and \(0<q\leq +\infty\). As a consequence, \(U^{\theta}_{T}f\) converges to \(f\) almost everywhere when \(T\rightarrow +\infty\) for \(f\in L^{1}\). Applications to various summability methods are given.
