Let \(\Gamma\) be a geometrically finite Fuchsian group and let \(\chi\) be a finite-dimensional representation of \(\Gamma\). In order to establish a spectral theory for automorphic forms with \(\chi\)-twist, Eisenstein series are indispensable, as they describe the continuous part of the spectrum. This theory is well established, as long as \(\chi\) is unitary. For arbitrary \(\chi\), Eisenstein series won't even converge. For cofinite groups \(\Gamma\) and representations \(\chi\), which are \emph{unitary at the cusps}, i.e., \(\chi(p)\) is unitary for every parabolic element of \(\Gamma\), the reviewer showed in an earlier paper, that the Eisenstein series converge in some half plane, admit analytic continuation and satisfy a functional equation. The present paper extends this in two directions: firstly, non-cofinite groups \(\Gamma\) are admitted, and secondly, the representation \(\chi\) is allowed to be non-unitary at the cusps, but one insists that all eigenvalues of \(\chi(p)\) are in the unit circle. The authors then show that the Eisenstein series converge in some half-plane.
